Cotswold Valley Manor makes a wonderful base for those wishing to fully explore the beautiful Cotswold region with its iconic market towns and truly wonderful scenery. The house is located in the chocolate-box village of France Lynch, fantastic local pubs and handy shops are right on your doorstep while the larger town of Stroud with its wider selection of helpful amenities is just a ten-minute car journey away.
The traditional property, built from the famous and instantly recognisable Cotswold stone dates back as far as 1650. In recent years it has been extensively modernised and today boasts contemporary interiors and stylish furnishings while still retaining all its original charm and character. Cotswold Valley Manor can comfortably sleep up to sixteen guests across six bedrooms making it an ideal choice for two families holidaying together.
On the ground floor is the main living accommodation, the cosy lounge with its oak beams and exposed stone-walls is the perfect place to relax in front of the log-burner with a good film after a busy day spent exploring the Cotswolds on foot. The gorgeous country kitchen is the real heart of the home and comes equipped with all the tools a budding chef could possibly need, while the formal dining room is an excellent space to gather with loved ones and reflect on the highlights of the day.
There are six well appointed bedrooms, two family rooms with king-size beds each with two additional single beds, a king-size room and a double-room, each complete with en-suite bathrooms. There is a further king-size bedroom with additional single bed, while the final bedroom boasts a king-size sofa bed, these bedrooms share the use of an en-suite bathroom.
Outside, with three acres of rolling gardens to wander, there are plenty of hidden spots for the adults to enjoy a moment of peace and quiet with a good book while the children play fun games on the lawn. Spend a warm Summer evening cooking up a storm on the barbecue and dining al fresco on the terrace. Afterwards, end the day in the hot tub enjoying a sun downer while enjoying the total tranquillity of the picturesque surroundings.
