Home > Cottages > Victorian GrangeVictorian Grange is a walkers paradise with countless scenic walking opportunities and wonderful panoramic views of Cardigan Bay and Presli Hills from the terrace of the house. The property is incredibly child-friendly providing toys and a tree house to keep them entertained.
Victorian Grange holds a wonderful location within beautiful West Wales, set on the border of Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire. The home boasts beautiful views over the Preseli Hills and Cardigan Bay. There is plenty for the whole family to see, do and explore in the surrounding area, whether you are looking for a relaxing break or an action-packed stay full of activities and adventure.
The home dates back to 1870 and was originally a home for Captain William Minister, a veteran of the Crimean War. The current owners have spent years painstakingly and lovingly restoring the home to its original glory and today it seamlessly combines its original charm and character with contemporary interiors and elegant furnishings.
Victorian Grange can comfortably accommodate up to ten guests across its five beautifully-appointed bedrooms. On the ground floor is the main living accommodation, with a formal drawing room, a relaxed living room and an open-plan kitchen and morning room, there is plenty of space for the whole group to socialise and enjoy. Also on this level and in the recent pavilion extension to the house, is the first of the bedrooms, a double room with floor to ceiling windows, a shower room and a playroom, ideal for keeping the little ones entertained. Upstairs, guests will find the gorgeous master bedroom which boasts a walnut four-poster bed and luxury en-suite bathroom. Also on this level is a further king-size bedroom and two twin rooms which share the use of a family bathroom.
Outside, the east terrace comes complete with a barbecue and pizza oven and is the ideal setting for a spot of al fresco dining on a Summer evening while enjoying the surrounding scenery. The children will enjoy playing in the gardens and can even retreat to their very own bespoke tree house, tucked away at the edge of the property.
