Explore Scotland’s playground…
A team of expert playground planners is on hand to help organise your activities, which are tailored for all interests, ages and abilities. A vast number of experiences are available with options such as tree climbing and zip-wiring, shooting, fishing and horse riding, gundog training experiences and falconry, 4×4 off-road driving and, of course, walking, cycling, tennis and lawn games. Here’s a taster of what to expect…

Horse riding: Gleneagles Equestrian School boasts 50-acres of dedicated riding space with indoor and outdoor coaching. They offer an extensive programme of lessons to take you from your very first ride to fine-tuning advanced techniques, including show jumping, cross-country and dressage. Little ones can even experience ‘owning a pony’, learning how to groom, look after a horse and enjoy their first ride.

Tennis: Head to one of the nine beautifully maintained courts – either inside or out – for a match with friends or take up some of the finest coaching in the country to hone your skills with a private or small group lesson.
Wildlife photography: Immerse yourself in the surrounding landscape as award-winning Scottish photographer Jason Baxter guides you through Perthshire’s rambling countryside for a beginners’ masterclass of wildlife photography.

Off-road driving: Thrill seekers – young and old – unite for off-road adventures on a series of undulating tracks in and around the beautiful estate. Tackle rugged Highland trails, roaring rivers and make your way up steep gradients, while younger ones can experience a ride in a scaled-down Land Rover replica.

October half term: A week of adventure awaits this half term. From bug hunts to journey mapping and firm favourites, including stable tours, tennis and golf camps, there are plenty of activities to keep kids happy and entertained all week long.

Golf: Whether a novice or pro, tee off on one of three championship golf courses at Gleneagles – the only European golf venue that has hosted both the 2014 Ryder Cup and 2019 Solheim Cup. There is a range of ways for you to learn or improve your skills with a team of experts on hand in this stunning Scottish setting.
