Mallory Court was completed in 1916 by Percy Morley Horder for James Holt, a wealthy Manchester cotton merchant. It remained a private home until 1976 when it became a ‘restaurant with rooms’. Purchased in 1995 by Sir Peter Rigby, it became the first hotel in the Eden Collection, originally having only 10 rooms. Since then it has been renovated and extended ensuring tradition has been followed but intertwining this with the modern indulgences wanted today to create the perfect English countryside escape.
